Touchline FieldMode™ on the sideline, and a public match page in Spectator Mode, as families see it.

The challenge

Match day happens fast. The information shouldn’t get lost.

Coaches juggle lineups, substitutions and stats while the game is moving, and families who can’t be there want to follow along. Touchline Live brings match operations into one simple tool that works from the sideline and shares results in real time.

Enter the data once during the match and the rest of the platform moves on its own: scores update, player profiles change, leaderboards refresh, records grow and recaps generate, all from the same live event stream.

What we built

Four parts, one platform.

01

Touchline FieldMode™

A visual match-day interface: players on the field, the bench to the side. Double-tap for goals and saves, drag to substitute, drop cards onto players, with clock, halftime and undo on one surface.

02

Data that flows everywhere

The live match stream feeds results, player profiles, leaderboards, records, recaps and analytics, with no second round of admin cleanup.

03

Public pages on the web

Team, match, player and organization pages out of the box, with Spectator Mode so families can follow every match live.

04

Native Apple apps

Touchline Fan, built in Swift for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision: live scores, match timelines, follows, recaps and Social Studio player graphics. Plus a native scoring app for match staff.

Under the hood

Built on a modern, dependable stack.

Next.js and React power the web platform, and the native Apple apps are written in Swift. Supabase handles the database, authentication and real-time updates. Rosters and schedules import from CSV with validation and duplicate checks, and final recaps go out by email.
